Heavy mortar is a bonus (and soon to be buffed) against enemy positions with long range and good damage, vehicle self-repair helps you get vehicles back in the fight faster for an ammo cost (a resource Soviets usually float anyway, though, try not to spam it, investing in mines is faster and you might need it for the next ability) and Mark Target can win you critical tank fights (especially with guards being able to button enemy vehicles). This commander brings T-34/85 and Guards to fill that role. Soviets have a good base arsenal, lacking most of all a decent medium and a damage-dealing core infantry. Guard Motor is a solid allrounder, usable in any mode.
